I have used Mr. K's for the last twenty years for curtains, blinds and awnings. I recently worked with Karen to choose fabric for new awnings. She used software to show me what the awning fabric would look like on my house. Once I saw the image I was convinced I had chosen the correct fabric. The awnings were installed so professionally in less than an hour. I then had Karen help me select fabric to cover several chair cushions. Lisa and her upholstery staff did an amazing job on the cushions and brought new life to my mission style chair. Mr. K's Fabric Shop is an amazing business. We had a slight rip in a chair cover at our kitchen table set, that is probably 20+ years old, and we needed a fix. We did not want to replace the table, chairs, and buffet set at all. So called on Mr. K’s to fix the one chair. The age of the foam, the thin fabric on the chair, it just was not going to be as easy of a fix as I had hoped. Lisa at Mr. K's was quite excited to try out something with fitted chair covers that had never been done before by Mr. K's, and she called and proposed an idea, and we were all in! The process was fun to be a part of, as these beautiful fabric covers were created for two captain chairs and four standard table chairs. The fabric is thick, sturdy, and stunning in the kitchen, blending with the counters, cabinets, and furniture. The detail of the work and how these covers were pristinely fitted to the curves of each seat and the arms of the chairs was very professional and tidy. We love them. These Velcro’ d covers make the room pop on the six chairs ~ almost as if the chairs have a secret, as they are tucked under the table, but as you move about the room you SEE them, absolutely stunning work. As my husband said, if you want to show them off and have potential clients take a peek at ours, you can do that anytime! ;-) We are most pleased, and we were happy to be the experimental guinea pig house. Mr. K's did stay in contact through the construction of the chair covers, keeping us in the loop routinely. Get you some! You too will be glad you did. Decided to go with some pretty large Hunter Douglas battery powered shades. Was a little skeptical at first with the battery powered, but they are very impressive. Jennifer was on point with the look we wanted and the installers were awesome. This is a great company to work with. Their communication is amazing.
